Where Are They Now? Zuleyka Rivera

After winning Miss Universe in 2006, Rivera has been a very active figure in the Hispanic market, not only in her native country Puerto Rico but also in the United States and the American continent. Zuleyka has acted in multiple soap operas for the main Spanish leading channels Telemundo and Univision. Recently, she had the opportunity of hosting her own show called “La Revista de Zuleyka” (Zuleyka’s magazine) which gave her a versatile role in the entertainment industry. Rivera has also been the main image of a famous clothing store in her country for several years. Furthermore, she has also become a businesswoman launching her swimsuit brand and presenting it at the Miami Swim Week. She is also an ambassador of multiple charities and foundations such as Amigos for Kids, St. Jude Children’s hospital among others. She is currently doing the crossover to become a TV host in the American (English) market, a dream that she has been considering for a few years and that she’s finally fulfilling it.

It is not a secret that if it weren’t for the Miss Universe organization her career wouldn’t be as successful as it currently is. This year Zuleyka is celebrating 10 years of her coronation. To commemorate this journey Zuleyka would love to be a part of the program as a judge in the next edition of  the pageant. She will be more than willing to be a part of it and to help other women experience what she started experiencing a decade ago.
