Kristin Prouty heads up the Entertainment Relations division of the global phenomenon – WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc.) Kristin has been instrumental in bridging the gap between mainstream pop culture and WWE, bringing iconic celebrities into the publicity mix and booking WWE talent on popular TV shows. Kristin is also responsible for casting many of the WWE Divas and currently helps manage and strengthen the Divas brand. She has traveled extensively with the company and has completed three tours in Iraq to pay tribute to the troops. She has helped form significant relationships with WWE and internationally known celebrities and brands like Hugh Jackman, Shaquille O’Neal, Floyd Mayweather, United Nations Foundation, The View, The Muppets, Mark Burnett Productions and more.
Prior to holding her position at WWE, Kristin has been an influential player in the Entertainment Industry. She worked as a Casting Director on the first season of Survivor and continued on the second and fifth seasons. Kristin went on to help cast The Apprentice, The Biggest Loser, and eighteen other reality TV shows – helping launch the era of Reality TV. She moved into celebrity casting and worked as a Talent Booker for the first year Jimmy Kimmel Live was on the air, and then moved to VH1 to cast three seasons of Surreal Life and several of the franchise’s spinoffs.
Kristin’s former production company, “Light Mind Entertainment”, contributed to such companies, as the worldwide empire of Endemol (who created “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” and “Fear Factor”), 51 Minds who made the infamous 200 million dollar deal with Endemol and more. She developed a show called “The High Road” with Emmy Award winning producer Bill Pruitt, and Academy Award Winners: Nicole Kidman, Eva Orner and Participant Productions.
Kristin received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Tisch Film School at New York University.
