Miss Oklahoma Teen USA Fights ALS
Miss Oklahoma Teen USA 2017 Baylee Ogle had an obvious choice when she decided a platform to fight for during her year. That choice was amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS. Her father was diagnosed with ALS, giving her family firsthand experience of living with someone who suffers from the disease.
She tells Norman Transcript, “It’s hard on families,” she said. “These are the times you want to spend with your family, and especially with my dad since what he had was terminal.”
With her title as Miss Oklahoma USA, she plans on using the crown to promote awareness and a cure for the disease.
She will compete at the 2017 MISS TEEN USA competition.
