Emily Suttle is a high school junior from Franklin, Tennessee. Emily is very proud that her entire family makes being close a priority, and spends quality time together going on family vacations, kayaking, hiking, and having fun during family game nights. An advocate for pet adoption, Emily has 1 dog, affectionately called Marty, and 3 Siamese cats named Lulu, Chyna and Chailai, all of whom are rescue pets.
She serves as President of Franklin High School’s chapter of The Movement. Emily shares the organization’s mission to raise youth awareness of the global orphan crisis and the needs of foster care children to as many US high school students as possible. She is also a member of the Interact Club and visits nursing homes and pet shelters to promote goodwill in her community.
Ultimately, Emily would like to have her own television program and multi-media portfolio dedicated to helping people achieve and maintain beautiful and healthy skin, and a healthy lifestyle.With Emily’s optimism and determination, she is focused on making all of her dreams a reality.
In her own words
Emily would love to meet Dr. Sally Ride, the first American woman in space. She looks up to Dr. Ride because she was an astronaut, accomplished athlete, scientist, and mentor to teen girls.
Ever since freshman year she has wanted to be on the Prom committee. As a junior, she was able to be one of ten committee members planning a prom for 600 people.
Emily hopes to one day open her own dermatology practice, so that her work can be far-reaching.
