Height: 5’ 8”
Gracie Sapp is a sophomore at Lexington Christian Academy, and the middle child in a family of five. She is a professional model and state champion, as well as record holder, for her sport of 10 years, swimming. She has been on honor roll for her whole school career, and has received many other academic awards such as the Student-Athlete Award! Keeping her grades, modeling, swimming, and now holding the esteemed position of Miss Kentucky Teen USA 2013 all in balance, has taught her a lot about hard work, self discipline, and time management.
Gracie is thrilled to be an advocate for Best Buddies International during her reign, and hopes to continue being involved in the charity even after her reign as Miss Kentucky Teen USA has come to an end. Gracie is also very interested in raising awareness for lung disease in children and young adults. She is passionate about this because she has lost many family members to lung disease, and has many friends close to her with relatives suffering with lung disease as well.
Gracie’s experience of pageantry is truly a Cinderella story. Her first pageant ever was this past January when she won the title and responsibility of Miss Kentucky Teen USA as the youngest contestant! She says she wants to stay in the spirit of her amazing state of Kentucky and be a Secretariat of the pageant world. As Secretariat won the triple crown in horse racing as the underdog, she hopes to be able to win and assume the positions of Miss Teen USA, and eventually Miss USA and Universe. She is determined to make this year the best year of her life, and plans to glorify God in it through every way possible. She is blessed beyond words to be able to serve as Miss Kentucky Teen USA, and looks forward to the possibility of serving as Miss Teen USA!
