Livia Stencel is a first generation American and speaks fluent Polish. She is currently a senior at Warwick Veterans Memorial High School where she participates in the Leadership Academy and maintains a 4.0 GPA.
Livia enjoys swimming for her school and has also practiced tennis, hip-hop and scuba diving. Last year, she received Honorable Mention on her swim team and placed 14th in the 100m backstroke in 2010, and 9th in the 100m backstroke in 2011; both were in the Division 111 Championship.
In the summer time, Livia shoots at her local shooting range in the Junior Rifle Program. This year, she won first place at the final shoot in prone position.
In addition to visiting the shooting range, Livia's summertime activities include traveling to Poland to visit her family. Livia has a love for animals and says she hopes to one day have the opportunity to help and care for animals with a low population rate or that are close to extinction.

Livia was the youngest person in Rhode Island to receive a scuba diving license when she was 9 years old.
Livia's first job was at a Swim-School where she taught children the proper ways to stay safe in the water.
Livia collects framed butterflies from all over the world.
