Jordyn Jagolinzer-Machado attends St. Mary Academy Bay View in Riverside, Rhode Island. She is an honors student in the Advanced Placement program and has a 4.2 GPA. Her goal is to graduate in the top 10 percent of her high-school class. Jordyn is also a member of the varsity volleyball team, the sailing team and the Peer Ministry group. She received the President's Award for Educational Achievement and the Community Service Citizenship Award. She has also been nominated twice for the People-to-People Ambassador program. In the future, Jordyn hopes to receive a degree in broadcast journalism. She would love to work on the Today Show or E! News.
Jordyn is also active in her community. Organizations close to her heart include the New England Organ Bank and the Greater New England: National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Having volunteered over 700 hours, she was honored with a citation from former Massachusetts governor, Mitt Romney, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in recognition of her work. She has also been teaching fourth grade catechism classes at her church for two years.
