Age: 21

Hometown: Springfield

Height: 5’ 6”

Brittany Reid recently graduated from Shawnee High School. A few of the activities she most enjoyed included student council, National Honor Society, volleyball, show choir, drama club, symphonic band, symphonic choir, marching band and the spring musicals. As freshman class president, sophomore class president, vice president of executive board her junior year and president of executive board her senior year, Brittany was able to honor student opinion and enact change. Brittany also played a pivotal role in the Shawnee music department. She held the position of Field Commander of the marching band her junior and senior year and enjoyed performing with the Tri-State Honor Band and the Ohio All-State Honor Band. One of her greatest joys was performing in the spring musicals. Her roles included “Kelsi Nielsen” in High School Musical, the “Wardrobe” and the “Enchantress” in Beauty and the Beast, “Ariel” in Footloose, and to top it all off “Millie” in Thoroughly Modern Millie. Brittany’s greatest passions are public speaking and performance. Being selected to speak at her high school graduation ceremony this past May was a great honor and fueled her enthusiasm to continue her chosen career path in broadcast journalism. She will be attending the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California.

In her free time, Brittany enjoys spending time with her sisters, Brooke and Breanah, listening to music, shopping online, watching movies with her family and going out with friends.

Quate The pageant experience has expanded my ability to walk and speak in front of a large crowd. I have gained a great deal of confidence, something that would not have come as quickly without my personal experience with pageants. Quate
