Jessica Billings received her Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Mary’s College of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN, where she was an honors graduate in Business/Marketing, with a minor in Sociology. She currently models the latest beauty, fashion and jewelry trends for ShopNBC and travels the world as flight attendant.
In 2007, Jessica was selected by the White House to attend the United Nations World Youth Leadership Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland, and later had the opportunity to address the United Nations General Assembly in New York City. Internationally, Jessica has served on a non-government organization (NGO) called the Global Road Safety Taskforce for the World Health Organization.
One of Jessica’s greatest inspirations has been her older brother, Jamey. Diagnosed with autism at the age of two, Jamey has taught Jessica the joys of appreciating the differences in all people and to never take a day for granted. Jessica has served and continues to serve as a sibling advocate for the Autism Society and other organizations designed to enhance the lives of people with disabilities. Jessica is a Special Olympics Award announcer and coach, a sibling advocate for the Autism Society and a sibling workshop presenter, a trained ABA (Applied Behavioral Analyst) therapist for children with autism, and she has organized teams for the Autism Society’s Steps of Hope annual fundraiser. Her service has earned her the Presidential Call to Service Award.
