Claudia Jordan got her first taste of the entertainment business while still a newspaper reporter in Providence, Rhode Island once she won the crown becoming Miss Rhode Island and going on to compete in the Miss USA Pageant in 1997. Shortly after, Claudia beat out thousands of hopefuls and became the second African-American woman ever to be a "Barkers Beauty" on the longest running television show on TV-the Price is Right on CBS.
Claudia then went on to co-host a show on the Style Network-with CSI Miami's Eva La Rue-The Modern Girls Guide to Life (for 2 seasons-aired on Style Network and it's sister station E!)Claudia was a part of the cast of BET's sports show Ballers with John Salley, Guy Tory and Hugh Douglas, and she was a correspondent on Fox Sports extreme sports show 5-4-3-2-1 and covered all the entertainment segments for the show interviewing Cameron Diaz, Drew Cary, Drew Barrymore, John Voight, Will Smith and many more Hollywood A listers. She completed a few spots for Fox Sports the Best Damn Sports Show.
Claudia was also part of the number one show on NBC since ‘Friends’, the popular game show, ‘Deal or No Deal’ for three years. She was the most recognizable model on the show and because of her quick wit & business savvy and her love of real estate Donald Trump had picked her to be on season 2 of Celebrity Apprentice where she caused quite a stir. After Celebrity Apprentice Mr. Trump wanted to continue work with Claudia, so he hired her to host the 2009 Miss Universe pageant on NBC which was highly rated and had millions of viewer’s world wide.
Claudia in her quest to wear many hats in the industry, has also tried her hand at stand up comedy and has hosted a few comedy shows and done some stand up which she certainly sharpened her comedic skills while working along side Jamie Foxx for 4 years on his Satellite radio show ‘The Foxxhole’. Claudia blessed with brains and beauty was often deemed "The Medical Model" for her knowledge of biology and science.
Claudia also had an opportunity to fly to Denver to cover the Democratic Convention and then onto Washington DC where she covered the inauguration of our current President Barack Obama. Claudia eventually was given her own radio show on Sirius radio for 2 years called The Claudia Jordan show where she and her crew discussed relationships on her hilarious but informative 1 hour weekly show.
Claudia has also worked as a host for BET J and Centric as she traveled around the Caribbean and covered the various Jazz festivals and showed the viewers the "best of" what the Caribbean islands had to offer. Claudia also hosted the Centric Red Carpet Pre-show when the network brought back the Soul Train awards. She has guest hosted for the popular syndicated show Extra and also host TV Ones Access Hollywood.
Recently Claudia caught the acting bug and landed the role of Miss Wilson-a teacher for Bright Ideas Entertainment and Executive Producer Debbie Allen’s new Sitcom, “MY PARENTS, MY SISTER AND ME” starring opposite Robin Givens. She is also training now for the film “The Runner” where she plays an Olympic track star struggling with the staying competitive while being tempted to experiment in performance enhancing drugs.
Claudia loves working with charities and donates her time every year to host the Little Miss African American pageant as well as the Watkins awards which are both non-profits that recognized excellence amongst our youth.
Claudia is currently in pre-production of her new talk show that will air on VH-1-a panel show called Tiny Tonight which will cover pop culture, current events and relationships. The first episode airs December 9th on Vh1.
Claudia also hosts an internet radio show called Reach Around Radio-twice a week where she and her co-host deliver a hilarious and edgy comedy show and interview any and everyone from politicians to pop stars.
Claudia has appeared in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit issue, covers of many magazines as well as being featured in People Magazines 100 most beautiful people. What is next for Claudia Jordan…..Stay tuned there is always more to come!
