Dena Muehlfeld is the Director Digital Multimedia Department. Dena works on the digital strategy, content, ad and sponsor acquisition and management for the three Miss Universe Organization properties as well as the over 200 worldwide franchises including: websites, the Miss U App, digital broadcast integration and social media platforms. She continues to work to increase the brand's loyalty and visibility on a global level.
Additionally, Dena is credited as a segment producer for the internationally distributed Miss Universe and Miss USA broadcasts.
Dena attended the University of California, San Diego and achieved a B.A. in International Studies - Economics.
Dena started working for the Miss Universe Organization in 2010 in the Marketing and Business Development department. She worked arduously in securing new corporate sponsorships, endorsements, partnerships and generating new revenue ideas. The marketing department at the Miss Universe Organization wears many hats and Dena supported several roles including: brand strategizing, grassroots approach to advertising, advertising creatives, sponsor maintenance, monitoring ROIs and much more.
In January of 2012, Dena switched roles and is now the Director Digital Multimedia Department. Dena works on the content, ad management and creative flow for the three Miss Universe Organization websites (missuniverse.com, missusa.com and missteenusa.com) and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and YouTube). She continues to work to increase the brand's loyalty and visibility on a global level.
